Shelley Renay Meadors Gibson entered the glorious gates of Heaven on October 28, 2024. A mighty woman of faith, Shelley placed her complete trust in God and brought countless others to know the Lord. She lived with a boundless love for her family and those around her, radiating Christ's light in all she did and praising her Savior all the days of her life. Her dedication to pursuing dreams, uplifting others, being a prayer warrior and standing firm on the Word of God left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.

Shelley's joyful life was a testament to her generous spirit. She served with dedication as both a bookkeeper and Administrative Ministries Pastor at High Five Church in Bay City, TX, which she founded on her birthday. She also started a 501(c)(3) ministry, Courage with Grace. In addition, Shelley offered her compassionate support remotely in the medical equipment field. Beyond her work, she found joy in life's simple pleasures: watching the sunset at the beach, playing board games, gardening, and spending cherished time with her family. To her community, she was known as a beloved "Church Mom."

Preceding Shelley in death were her parents, Reuben Alton Meadors and Ramona Jean Meadors; her sister, Peggy Elaine Tamburello; brother-in-law, Lyndon Ray Tamburello; and nephews, Brian Ray Tamburello and Mario Isaiah Morquecho; and the father of her three children Harold Wayne Gibson.

Shelley is lovingly remembered by her precious children: Joshua Anthony Gibson; Caleb Wayne Gibson and his wife, Erica Gibson; and Hannah Meshelle Gibson. She also leaves behind her siblings, Russell Meadors and his wife, Kim; Sheilah Watson and her husband, Rick; and Janice Smith and her husband, Ralph, along with her many nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Louie.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Sunday, November 3, 2024 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Monday, November 4, 2024 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, November 4, 2024 at Brookside Memorial Park in Houston.  Pallbearers will be: Joshua Gibson, Joseph Maul, Brandon Meadors, Dustin Johnson, Ralph Smith Jr, Craig Ruffin, Eric Penn, and Nicholas Bigelow.  Honorary Pallbearers will be: Lindsay Morgan, Jake Maul, Tanner Smith, and Jonathon Gormey.
