Sheila Plunkett, 52, of the Ashwood Community died June 28, 2005 at her residence. She was born June 24, 1953 in Bay City, TX to the late Theodore James and Trubie Jean Sparks Bryant. Sheila was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Matagorda, a resident of Ashwood for the past 20 years, and she was a longtime beautician in Bay City.

Survivors include: husband: Jimmy Plunkett of Ashwood; sister & brother-in-law: Arlane & Wayne Sanders of Wadsworth; brother and sister-in-law: Ricky & Peggy Bryant of Zipperian's Corner; brother-in-law: James Plunkett of Van Vleck; sister-in-law: Cindy Par-Due of Allen, TX; grandchild: Trenton Blaylock of Ashwood; nieces: Lacey Sparks of Ashwood, Stacey and Megan Plunkett of Van Vleck, Evelyn Thigpen of Bay City, Stephanie Fojtik
of Edna, Amy Plunkett of Allen, TX, and Katy Plunkett of Victoria, TX; nephews: Frank Boultinghouse, Jr. of Wadsworth, Eric Sanders of Willis, TX, James Sanders of US Navy stationed in Florida, Derick Bryant of Zipperian's Corner, and Jory Plunkett of Allen, TX.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, July 2, 2005 at Christ Episcopal Church in Matagorda with the Rev's Harley Savage and Hoss Gwin officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City. Pallbearers will be Larry Roe, Danny Broadwater, Frank Boultinghouse, Jr., Eric Sanders, Derick Bryant, and Justin Hayden. Honorary Pallbearers will be James Sanders and Jory Plunkett. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday evening at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home.
