Senora Solis Villarreal, 89, of Bay City passed away Sept. 2, 2008. She was born March 2, 1919 in San Benito, TX to the late Gumezindo & Magdelina Morales Solis, Senora being number 6 of 14 blessings from God.

Survivors include 4 children Mary Perez of Rosenberg, Ynes Villarreal, Jr. (Irma) of Bay City, Tommie Suarez (Mario) & Magdelena Reyes (Ismael) all of Houston; 3 siblings Lupe Hernandez, Carmen Trevino & Victor Solis; 7 grandchildren whom she raised Anna Marie Villarreal (Joe), Anna Marie Sherrill (Scott), Ignacio Villarreal, & Jesse C. Villarreal (Cindy) all of Bay City, Johnny Reyes of Austin, Toni Manciaz & Mary Ester Rodriguez both of Houston and the remaining 37 grandchildren & extended number of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren & great-great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Ynes Villarreal, Sr. and 10 children.

A prayer service will be 7:00 PM Friday, Sept. 5, 2008 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008 at Turning Point Church with Rev. Hill Winfrey officiating. Her final resting place will be at Cedarvale Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday & Friday at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Jesse Villarreal, Ruben Reyes, Jr., Ynes Villarreal, Jr., Jesse C. Villarreal, Ignacio Rodriguez, Rudy Estrada, Jr. James Diaz & Arthur Flores. Honorary pallbearers are Arthur Villarreal, Eric Heard, LVN, Wayland Bryant-Thomas, LVN, Scott Sherrill, Joe Benevides & Derek Sherrill. Representative grandchildren are Christopher Sherrill & Tammy Saurez.
