Sebastian Oros, 79, of Bay City passed away Sept. 13, 2011. He was born Jan. 20, 1932 in San Benito, Texas to the late Modesto Oros & Bartola Carrion Oros. He was retired from the City of Bay City.

Survivors include his wife Angelica Contreras Oros of Bay City; daughters Elizabeth Montalvo & Vanessa Oros both of Bay City; sons Adam Oros & Mario Oros both of Bay City and Steve Oros of Texas City; sisters Maria Oros & Anita Oros both of Bay City and Petra Oros of Harlingen; brothers Santiago Oros, Juan Oros, Candelario Oros & Jesus Oros all of Bay City; grandchildren Brandon Montalvo, Lauren Montalvo, Angelina Fernandez, Natasha Oros, Mario Oros, Victoria Oros, Steve Oros, Jr., Sean Oros & Shaddai Oros and two great grandchildren.

A rosary will be recited at 7:30 PM Friday at the funeral home. Mass will be 10:00 AM Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Adam Oros, Jamie Montalvo, Brandon Montalvo, Saul Fernandez, Mario Oros & Steve Oros.
