Sara Zamora Ramirez was called to be home with the lord May 23rd, she was a loving mother to her only son Frank Lee Zamora, also a loving grandmother and great grandmother.  She was born May 5, 1932 in Bay City to the late Francisco Zamora and Angelita Ramos Zamora.

She loved all her nieces, nephews and family so much. She was a strong believer in her lord Jesus Christ and anyone who crossed her path, she would preach the word of God. Every morning she prayed and thanked God for another day of life, sipped her coffee and created drawings of her family, animals and anything that came to mind , she even entered an art contest and won a scholarship for her creative drawings at the age of 84! She stayed busy and active all the way till her last days grateful to the lord for the life he had given her. She always said do not cry for me when I leave because I'm going home to be with my creator, instead smile and rejoice because I'll be reunited with him and all my loved ones, so remember this day as a celebration not of death but the beautiful life she lived.

Survivors include her son Frank Zamora & wife Mary Annie; brother Moses Zamora; grandchildren Frank Zamora, Jr., Sammantha Doria & husband Kris, Fred Vincent Zamora and Valerie Rene Zamora and great grandchildren Natalie Leann Flores, Dominic Schroder, Ariana Brito, Emma Brito, Kalii Doria and Gabby Gonzalez.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM Monday, May 29, 2023 at Emmanuel Baptist Church.  Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM with Rev. Alvarado officiating.  Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Fred Zamora, Christopher Zamora, Michael Zamora, Gilbert Morales, Daniel Morales and Evan Southall.
