Santos Esquivel, 87, of Blessing, TX passed away November 13, 2013. She was born November 8, 1926 in Knott, TX to the late Margarito Fabela & Gertrudes Cortez Fabela.

Her husband Alberto Esquivel, sister Fransica Jimenez, 2 grandsons and 1 great grandson all preceded her in death.

Survivors include sister Margarita Vasquez of Eagle Pass, TX; children Terry & Joe Morales, Sr. of Blessing, Justa Moreno of Blessing, Bea Galvan of Blessing, Joe & Lorraine Esquivel of Blessing, Janie & Peter Prejean of Lafayette, LA, Mary & Jose Moreno of Blessing, Bertha & Luis Zavala, Sr. of Blessing, Judy & Jesse Lara of Palacios, David & Laura Esquivel of Lake Jackson & Sonia & Armando Ibarra, Sr. of Blessing; 42 grandchildren, 89 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with a rosary being recited at 5:00 PM. Funeral mass will be 10:00 AM Monday, November 18, 2013 at St. Peters' Catholic Church with Msgr. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joe Morales, Sr., Peter Prejean, Jose Moreno, Sr., Luis Zavala, Sr., Jesse Lara, Sr. and Armando Ibarra, Sr.
