Santiago G. Oros, Jr. 72, of Bay City, passed away July 3, 2014, in Huntsville, Texas. Santiago was born May 19, 1942 in San Benito, Texas to parents, Santiago Sr. and Beatriz Guiterres Oros.

He was preceded in death by his father, a son Jimmy Oros, and a brother, Modesto Oros. He is survived by his mother, Beatriz Oros of Bay City, wife Gloria P. Oros of Bay City, daughter and son in law, Carmen and Conrad Medina of Bay City, Step son and wife Santiago and Denise Hernandez of Plainfield, Illinois, sisters Beatrice Flores, Gloria Cadriel, and Alice Marroquin, and brothers, Gustalvo, Tony Robert, Armando, Rey and Eleno Oros. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Branden, Mark, and Maria Faith Medina and Isabella, and Ryan Hernandez.

Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 8:00 PM with a rosary at 6:00PM Friday at the funeral home. Mass will be 10:00 AM Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Msgr. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City. Pallbearers will be: Gustalvo, Tony, Robert, Armando, & Eleno Oros, and Joe Cadriel.
