Sandra Rickaway, 55, of Pleasanton, TX passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2006 in Jourdanton, TX. She was born May 18, 1951 in Bay City, TX to Roy Evans and Billie Dean Tyler Evans. Formerly of San Antonio, she was a resident of Pleasanton for the past year.

Sandra was a Substitute Teacher for the Pleasanton and the Jourdanton School Districts and was a member of Cowboy Fellowship church in Pleasanton. She enjoyed travel to Germany and holiday planning, was an avid hunter and fisher woman, had a love of flowers and plants, and a passion for shoes.

She is survived by her husband: Ronald L. Rickaway of Pleasanton; by 2 sons: Ronald Lynn Rickaway, Jr & wife Laurie of Marble Falls and Gregory Wayne Rickaway & wife Holly of San Antonio; by her parents: Roy & Billie Evans of Bay City; her sisters: Carol Wolf & husband Kevin of League City and Pam Calk & husband Wade of Boiling; her brother: Roy Dean Evans & wife Cindy of Bay City; and by her nieces and nephews: W. T. & Shannon Calk, Amanda Calk, Theresa Puccetti, Gerald Puccetti, Jr & wife Michelle, Dean Evans, and Jennifer, Jessica & Ashley Wolf.

Visitation will begin 11:00 AM Sunday, August 20, 2006 at the funeral home and the family will receive visitors from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Sunday. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, August 21, 2006 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lee Watson officiating. Interment will follow at Hawley Cemetery in Blessing. Pallbearers will be Wade Calk, Kevin Wolf, W. T. Calk, Samuel Evans, Donald White, and Fred Rickaway. Honorary pallbearers include Ronald Lynn Rickaway, Gregory Wayne Rickaway and Roy Dean Evans.
