Obituary
Sammy Vestal, 80, of Houston passed away on Friday, February 17, 2017. He was born on August 5, 1936 in Overton, Texas to the late Clarence Melvin and Amy Blanch Vestal. Sammy loved to watch sports and travel. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp. Sammy was a born-again Christian.
He is survived by: son: Scott Vestal & wife Katherine; 2 daughters: Sherry Lacy & husband Greg and Samantha Vestal Bryant; 2 sons: Steven and Sammy Vestal; 10 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren; Sammy was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Clarence Jesse Vestal, and sister: Anne Ruth Rone.
There will be a gathering of family and friends 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City.
