Ruth Loretta Mendek, 92, of Bay City passed away August 2, 2023.  She was born June 2, 1931 in Morristown, Ohio to the late James Hogue Sells and Dorothy Rose Tennant Sells.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Rose Anna Goodrich.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Mendek; daughter Belinda; son Bruce Goodrich; sister Judy Britton; brother James S. Sells, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Nichols Street Church of Christ.  Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM with Chris Webber officiating.  Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.  Pallbearers will be Scott Mendek, Michael Mendek, Jr., Frank Culer and Bruce Goodrich.
