Ruth McCombs, 78, of Palacios passed away June 28, 2018. She was born June 18, 1940 in Jasonville, Indiana to the late Estel Russell and Letha Dune Champ Russell.  Her career choice was that of helping others as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.

She had 7 siblings, Ann, Jean, Mary, Jan, Robert, Bill and John.

Those surviving her include her husband of 61 years, Robert W. McCombs, Sr.; daughter Tracy McCrory; sons Robert McCombs, Jr., Keith McCombs and Charles McCombs; grandchildren Charles Joseph McCombs, Justin McCrory, Laura McCrory, Robert W. McCombs III, Sherylynn, Jennifer and Jessica and 3 great grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 Noon Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at the Family Worship Center in Bay City, Texas. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM with Rev. James Guerrero officiating. Interment will follow at Hawley Cemetery near Blessing, Texas.
