Ruth Ezell Boggs, 82, of Bay City, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015. She was born on January 2, 1933 in McComb, Mississippi to the late Jack and Mary Elizabeth Case Brown. Ruth married Neal H. Ezell Jr. on June 4, 1948 and together they had 5 children. She was a kind, giving sweet loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend.

Ruth is preceded in death by her parents; husband Neal H. Ezell, Jr., second husband Harry C. Boggs; daughter Frances Elizabeth Ezell Jones and brother Carl Case. She is survived by her children, Vearl Ezell and wife Debbie of Mont. Belvieu , Texas, Lynn Ezell and wife Vickie of Campwood, Texas, Debbie Ezell Jarrell and husband Glenn of Bay City, Texas, Ricky Ezell and wife Annette of Mittie, Louisiana, 14 grandchildren, 62 great grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 6:00-7:00 P.M. Wednesday October 14, at the funeral home. Services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday Oct. 15, 2015 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sweeny Cemetery. Special thanks to Home Caretakers Iris, Kimberly, Rosie, Trisha and Yolanda; staff of Bethany Homehealth Care, the staff of Bay Villa Nursing Home; Staff at Matagorda Regional Medical Center and Houston Hospice. Pallbearers will be Neal Bess, Jr., Glenn Jarrell, Joe Rougeau, Clifford Wilbanks, Gary Winscott and Brian Yoes. Honorary pallbearers will be Chad Ezell, Nicholas Schmitz and Marty Jones. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Matagorda Regional Medical Center.
