Nathaniel Rudolph "Rudy" Murphey, 71, of Markham passed away July 16, 2018.  He was born February 26, 1947 in Corpus Christi, Texas.

He was a skilled aluminum welder who loved to build boats.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edgar William Murphey; his mother Margaret Cathleen Niemietz and brothers Phillip Murphey, Steve Murphey and Edgar Murphey.

Survivors include his sister Pat Ware; brother Freddie Murphey; nieces and nephews Tina Willson, Steven Murphey, Stephanie Allen, Vannessa Murphey, Charlotte Lynn Rohloff, Elizabeth Gayle Murphey, Fred Murphey, Jr., Craig Ware and Shane Ware, and numerous great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 5PM until 7PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, July 19, 2018 at the Sandia Cemetery in Sandia, Texas.
