Ruby Cecil (Dominy) Haswell, 94, of Bay City passed away Monday, May 19, 2008. She was born June 17, 1913 in Pennington TX to the late May Hooks Dominy and Clyde Henry Dominy. Mrs. Haswell has been a resident of Bay City for the past 46 years, and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Bay City.

She is survived by her son: Dan Haswell & wife Shirley of Houston; 2 sisters: Kitty May Spain and Doris Jean Allen both of Pasadena; grandson: Kevin Haswell & wife JoAnna; granddaughter: Sue Babcock & husband Mike; and 4 great grandchildren: Acacia Davis, Caitlyn Davis, Blake Babcock, and Tanner Babcock. Mrs. Haswell was preceded in death by her parents; husband Harold F. Haswell in 1987; and brother Herbert Dominy.

A Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, May 24, 2008 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Pauline Harvey and Rev. Chris Harrison officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery.
