Roy H. Plunkett, 94, of Bay City, passed away Friday, March 18, 2016. He was born August 17, 1921 in Wortham, Texas to the late William Wayne and Elizabeth Frost Plunkett. He was a resident of Bay City for the past 14 years, a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, and a life time member of VFW Post #2438.

He is survived by daughter; Gail Plunkett and husband Lance Rath; son, Alan Wayne Plunkett & wife Cindy; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Edna L. Plunkett; his son Gerald Leroy Plunkett; his parents; two brothers and ten sisters.

The family will receive visitors from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Bay City with Rev. Bill Ramsey officiating. Interment will follow at Sweeny Cemetery in Sweeny, Texas. Pallbearers will be Alan Plunkett, Dustin Harper, Shannon Harper, Lance Rath, Brenden Steen and Keith Hatton.
