Roxie Mae Hoffman, 68, of Linden, TX passed away November 9, 2011 in Texarkana, Texas after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. She was born June 23, 1943 in Bay City, TX to the Late Loy & Ivy Rhodes Taylor. She spent her last years doing what she loved most, tending her flower gardens and spending time with family.

She was preceded in death by parents Loy & Ivy Taylor, 2 brothers, 4 sisters, and husband of 20 years Henry Hoffman. She is survived by her children: Johnny Hoffman & wife Marcella of Wharton, TX, Michele Guernsey & husband Dale of Bivins, TX, Darell Hoffman & wife Pam of Linden, TX, and Jason Hoffman & wife Gina of Linden, TX; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Friday, November 11, 2011 at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Taylor Duncan of Linden, TX officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Kenneth Black, Lee Hamilton, Mark Hamilton, Dwayne Taylor, Dee Taylor, Avery Johnson, Matt Johnson, and Dewayne Walker
