Ross Sterling Eidlebach, Sr., 78, of Bay City, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2008. He was born July 27, 1930 in Bay City to William Eidlebach and Pauline Gest Eidlebach. He was a lifelong resident of Bay City, a veteran of the US Army during the Korean Conflict, and attended the First Baptist Church of Van Vleck.

He is survived by his wife: Katherine R. Eidlebach of Bay City; by his daughter: Caryn Ann Bosse & husband Thomas of Hudson, FL; by his sons: Ross S. Eidlebach, Jr. & wife Ivy of Van Vleck and Richard Mark Eidlebach & wife Candy of Bay City; his sister: Evelyn Eidlebach of Bay City; by brothers: Burris Eidlebach and Arthur Eidlebach, both of Bay City; and by nine grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6pm to 8pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, November 13, 2008 at the First Baptist Church of Van Vleck with Rev. Al Lowe officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Pallbearers will be Randy Eidlebach, John Ross Eidlebach, Terrell Blackwell III, Chase Blackwell, Woody Joe Gernand and Tom Bosse.
