Rosemary Martinez, 50, of Bay City, passed away on January 5, 2017. She was born in Bay City on March 17, 1966 to Joaquin Martinez and Victoria Camarillo Martinez.

Rosemary was a very hard working, independent person. She always put others before herself. Rosemary loved to take care of her own yard and loved to barbeque. She was born and raised Catholic, and was baptized this past June. Rosemary was a faithful member of the Good Shepard Church in Bay City. She will be greatly missed.

Rosemary is survived by her loving partner Adam Gibson; mother Victoria Martinez; children, Joel Davalos & wife Navidad, Victoria Camacho & husband Miguel, Ruben Lewis & wife Alexandria Schurtz; brothers & sisters, Petra Campos, Pauline Martinez, Tammy Martinez, Gonzalo Martinez, David Martinez, Pat Martinez, Jerry Martinez, Mary Jane Montalvo, Alice Guzman, Joaquin Martinez; 9 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00pm Sunday, January 8 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home, with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00pm. Mass of the Resurrection will be 10:00am Monday, January 9, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Bay City, with Monsignor Gerry Cernoch celebrant. Rite of Committal will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery.
