Rose Mary Williams, 62 (10/24/1959 – 8/24/2022) of Palacios, TX passed peacefully in her sleep following a long battle of cancer.

She is survived by her husband Richard Williams Sr. of Palacios; sons Richard Williams, Jr. (Stacy) of Corpus Christi,TX and Brad Williams (Brenda) of Palacios TX; daughter Alicia Cherry Broadbent, OR; sisters Wendy Spiegel Yoakum, TX and Laura Claborn San Antonio, TX; brother Johnny Harvey Palacios, TX; grandchildren Ava Cherry, Joel Cherry, Selena Cherry, Pietrina Cherry, Amelia Williams, Hailey Williams, Aurora Williams and Weston Williams.

A devoted mother and Nana, she enjoyed walking the beach shores while listening to music. Helping others was her passion, and she never met a stranger. Known as mom to many friends and family, her door was always open.  Hobbies included collecting arrowheads, crafting, antique glassware and needlework.

Rose was preceded in death by parents Early and Johnnie Harvey; sister Jackie Backus, and brothers Dennis Harvey, Leonard Harvey, James Harvey, Eddie Harvey.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00 am Saturday, September 10, 2022 at the Palacios Pavilion, with Steve Williams officiating.

A luncheon will be served immediately following service.
