Rose Lee Polensky Williams, 91, of Bay City passed away February 21, 2012. She was born August 23, 1920 in Hungerford, TX to the late Antone Michael Polensky and Mary Ann Luczak Polensky. On November 23, 1940 she married Lonnie Williams. They were married for 70 years. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and loved her garden, which she shared with friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister four brothers, one grandson and one great grandson. She is survived by daughter Mary Jean Hawthorn of Wharton, TX; son Johnny Robert Williams of Bay City; grandchildren Paul Tenberg of Van Vleck, Keith Robert Williams of Bay City and Jill Suzanne Davis of Bay City; 6 great grandchildren, 2 great- great grandchildren; brother Laurence Polensky of El Campo and sister Beatrice Duzan of Saginaw, TX.

A rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Friday, Feb. 24, 2012 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Korenek officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be: Paul Tenberg, Keith Williams, Kyle Williams, Ronnie Smith, and Bobby Bell.
