Rosalinda Trevino, age 70, of Bay City, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 23, 1955, in Gómez Palacio, Durango, Mexico, to her mother, Maria de Jesus Luna Rosales.
She was raised with a strong faith, a compassionate heart, and a deep love for family—qualities that remained at the center of her life. In 1974, Rosalinda married the love of her life, Marcelo V Trevino III. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, faith, and unwavering devotion. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who always put the needs of others before her own.
As a homemaker, Rosalinda created a warm and welcoming home where family and friends always felt loved and cared for. She enjoyed gardening, thrifting, shopping, attending church and prayer meetings, and participating in her church's 50-Plus Group. She had a passion for taking photographs, meeting new people, and making meaningful connections. Above all, she cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Rosalinda will be remembered for her gentle spirit, steadfast faith, and the love she so freely shared with everyone she encountered. She found joy in life's simple blessings and taught those around her the importance of kindness, compassion, and family. Her love for Jesus was evident in the way she lived her life, and she never missed an opportunity to share the Word of God with others.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Cameron Worthy. Survivors include her husband, Marcelo V. Trevino III; sons, Fabian Trevino, Marcelo Trevino IV (Laura), Jason Trevino (Corina Rivera), and Daniel Trevino (Stacey); brothers, Alejandro Rosales, Ramon Rosales, and Eduardo Sanchez; sister, Mirna Sanchez; 17 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren with 2 on the way.
Though she will be deeply missed, the love she gave, the faith she lived, and the legacy she leaves behind will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
"Well done, good and faithful servant." — Matthew 25:23
"Her children arise and call her blessed." — Proverbs 31:28
