Rosalie Talafuse, 78, of Bay City passed away Thursday, March 1, 2007 in Waco. She was born November 13, 1928 in Bay City to the late Roy H. & Maudie (Cummings) Taylor. Rosalie was a member of the Wild Peach Community Church, a former longtime resident of Bay City, before moving to Waco 5 years ago.
She is survived by 3 sons: Roy, Yancy, and Chad Rodgers; daughter: Debbie Hollen; 2 sisters: Eva Lois Stansberry and Patsy Munson; brother: Virgil Taylor; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren. Mrs. Talafuse was preceded in death by her parents; and 2 husbands: Hubert M. Rodgers and Pete Talafuse.
A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, March 4, 2007 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Earl Breazeale officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements with Taylor Bros. Funeral Home 245-4613.
