Ronnie Dwayne Blackwell, 55, of Tres Palacios passed away June 9, 2023.  He was born May 28, 1968 in Palacios, Texas.

Ronnie loved putting 500 piece puzzles together and playing handheld electronic games. He was also an avid sports fan and loved watching sports.

He was preceded in death by his father Terrell Franklin Blackwell.

Survivors include his mother Maxie Louise Blackwell Young; sister Tammy Blackwell; brothers Terrell F. Blackwell, Jr. and Keith Blackwell (Cynthia); nephews Rodney Tucker III, Terrell F. Blackwell III, Benjamin Moore IV, Chase Blackwell and Keith Blackwell, Jr.; nieces Chasity Acosta and Kasandra Jaramillo; 6 great nieces; 10 great nephews; uncle Edwin Blackwell and aunt Barbara Landers (Jerry).

Visitation will be 6PM until 8PM Monday, June 12, 2023 at the Palacios Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at the Palacios Funeral Home with Rev. Max Pluss and Rev. Keith Blackwell officiating.  Interment will follow at the Midfield Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Rodney Tucker III, Terrell Blackwell III, Chase Blackwell, Keith Blackwell, Jr., Malachi Moore and Benjamin Moore V.
