Rogerio G. "Roy" Rodriguez, Jr., 75, of Bay City passed away March 24, 2010. He was born Sept. 16, 1934 in Olmito, TX to the late Rogerio and Rosa Garcia Rodriguez. He was a member of House of Deliverance Church in Clute, TX.

His daughter Rosa Lee Rodriguez Triana, son Benjamin Rodriguez and granddaughter Marie Bea Ortiz all preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife of 56 years Lupita Rodriguez of Bay City; daughters Ruby Ruiz & husband Gorgino "George" & Yolanda DeLeon & husband Vincent all of Freeport, TX and Pearl Trevino & husband Rudy of Van Vleck; sons Johnny Rodriguez & wife Kaledia of Eunice, LA, and Roy Rodriguez & Wally Rodriguez both of Bay City; sister Valerie Chavez of Bay City; brothers Jesse Rodriguez of San Antonio & Pete Rodriguez of St. Joseph, MI; 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren

A prayer service will be held at 6:00 PM Friday, March 26, 2010 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Vincent DeLeon officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers include Johnny Rodriguez, Roy Rodriguez, Jr., Wally Rodriguez, Manuel Martinez, Andrew Rodriguez, Jessie Rodriguez and Pearl Trevino. Vincent DeLeon, Jr., Gorgonio "George" Ruiz, Rudy Trevino, Sr. and Pete Rodriguez will serve as honorary pallbearers.
