Obituary
Roger D. Venglar, 65, of Bay City passed away July 20, 2013. He was born December 18, 1947 in Freeport, TX to the late John D. Venglar and Janey Lee Cumby Venglar. Roger loved his family and friends and was gifted with the ability to build or repair most anything.
Survivors include his wife, Tomasa Venglar of Bay City; daughter Kristi Pottgieser & husband Robert of Florida; step-sons Ramon Perez and Carlos Saldana; sister Teresa Venglar Orr & husband Darryl of Brazoria; half-sister Patsy Thornton & husband Rodney; grandchildren Hannah Pottgieser, Josh Fitzgerald & wife Katie, Jordyn Wray & husband Jessie and special nieces Tabitha Orr & Bailey and Janey Orr.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Following his wishes, cremation will follow.
