Obituary
Rodney Hale Svetlik, 39, of Bay City passed away November 26, 2011. He was born June 16, 1972 in Bay City to James John Svetlik, Jr. & Pamela Hale Svetlik. Rodney was gifted in playing guitar and welding. He had many carpenter skills as well and loved animals. He was a very compassionate person always thinking of others first and constantly giving back.
His maternal grandfathers Rodney Hale & Richard Jones and paternal grandparents James Svetlik, Sr. & Rose Svetlik all preceded him in death. Survivors include his parents James and Pam Svetlik of Bay City; maternal grandmother Annie Lee Jones of Bay City; sister Anna De La Rosa & husband Johnny of Pearland; brothers Jamie Svetlik & wife Edie of Bay City and Grant Svetlik of Bay City; nieces Hannah De La Rosa & Lora Nicole Svetlik and nephew Grayson Svetlik.
A memorial service will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Calvary Baptist Church Rev. Lane Pardue officiating.
