Roberto Wayne Rangel, 70, of Bay City, Texas passed away March 8, 2025. He was born August 11, 1954, in Bay City, Texas, to the late Louis Rangel and Romona Perez Rangel.

Roberto worked at the Aluminum Plant in El Campo, Texas, before getting shut down and later started at the American Home Patient of Bay City, Texas. Roberto enjoyed listening and dancing to Spanish music and will now be reunited with his lovely dancing partner, Irene, in heaven. He will be truly missed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Pena Rangel; sister, Theresa Rangel; brother, Louis (Chuco) Jesus Rangel; and sister-in-law, Delphina Rangel.

Survivors include his daughters, Jennifer Rangel and Tammy Rangel; son, Robert Rangel, Jr; brother, David Rangel; grandchildren, Jordan Rangel, Tori Rangel, Robert Rangel III, Justin Rangel, Jasper Rangel, Sir Xaylan Thach, Karisma Thach, Journey Ailstock, Gianni Rangel, Jayden Ailstock, Chloe Thach, Kailee Cruz, and Sophia Rangel; and great-grandchildren, Isaiah Esquivel, Icella Cabrales, Ace Rangel, and Mateo Rangel.

A rosary will be recited at 9:30 AM Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Bay City, Texas, and a mass will follow at 10 AM, with Rev. Gabriel Espinosa officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Thomas Ailstock, Jose Luis Rosas Jr., Jordan Rangel, Justin Rangel, Jasper Rangel, and Sir Xaylan Thach.
