Robert Alan Pavlow, 57, of Bay City passed away on Friday, October 15, 2010 after his battle with cancer. Robert was born November 22, 1952, in San Diego, California.

After graduating in 1971 from W. B. Ray High School in Corpus Christi, TX, he attended Del Mar Junior College. Robert was employed for 24 yrs with South Texas Project as a Senior Radiation Protection Technician.

Robert had many passions in life. He enjoyed traveling with his children and close friends on many scuba diving trips and was always up for new adventures. He was an avid reader and could always be found at the beach on a sunny day. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family and friends. Words cannot express how much he will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Pavlow Jr.; step-mother, Veda Pavlow; mother, Louise Savage Pavlow. Robert will forever be remembered by his devoted daughter and son, Melissa Kay Wong and husband, Donny Wong of League City, TX, Trevor Alan Pavlow of Needville, TX; sister, Mary Fermental of Boise, ID; two brothers, Russ Pavlow and wife, Judy of Chicago, IL, Richard Pavlow of Houston, TX, along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know him.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 20 between 6:00 and 8:00 P.M at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home in Bay City. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Taylor Bros with Joe Pointen officiating.
