Robert Lee Maxwell, Jr., 73, passed away May 28, 2010. He was born January 31, 1937 in Markham, TX to the late Robert Lee Maxwell, Sr. and Myrtle Daisy Vaughn. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.

Survivors include his wife Lucille Maxwell of Bay City; daughters and their spouses Sonja & Miles Ledwig of Bay City, Holly Hassell & Billy Buller of Gainsville, TX, Janet Maxwell & Chris Hurla of Mc Allen, TX, Pamela & Craig Thompson of Bay City & Jaime & Alan Snyder of Markham; son Robert Lee Maxwell, III & wife Julie of Tuscon, AZ; sister Pat Gunnels of Lake Jackson; grandchildren Brandon, Justin, Jessicca & Julian Michael Maxwell, Dayne Ledwig, Paige Brown, Aron Brown, Daryn Croft, Paitan Hassell, Jada Snyder, Riley Snyder, Camryn Thompson, & Chance Thompson; great grandchildren Jaden & Kade Maxwell and Marves Price; nephew Mike Martin of Lake Jackson and numerous other nieces and nephews.

His sisters Della Smith, Dessie Frick, Zelpia Frick, Zella Bohuslar, Myrtle Powell & Sammy Lee Cathey all preceded him in death.

Funeral service will be 4:00 PM Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Chester Sassman officiating. Interment will follow at Hawley Cemetery in Blessing, TX. Pallbearers will be Mike Martin, Leif Anderson, Johnathon Zimmerman, Aron Brown, Dayne Ledwig & Karla Kubecka.
