Robert Louis Krenek, 60, of Midfield passed away January 11, 2015. He was born August 15, 1954 in Matagorda County to the late Alfons and Lucille Krenek.

He was preceded in death by a son James Price, a grandson Christopher Krenek and two brothers Paul Krenek and Jerry Krenek. Survivors include his wife Beverly Kay Krenek of Midfield; daughters Robin Krenek of Midfield, Krystal Davis of Lake Jackson and Dawn Petru & husband Jeremy of Victoria; sons Shane Krenek and wife June of West Columbia, Robert Krenek, Jr. of Midfield & Roy Krenek & wife Catherine of Brady, TX; sisters Margaret Giger & husband Charles, Katherine Connally & husband Jim, Elizabeth Billingsly & husband Mike, Nancy Pasak & husband Ronnie and Christine Ferguson & husband Chris; brothers Johnny Krenek & wife Fae, Joe Krenek & wife Teresa, David Krenek & wife Diana, Fred Krenek, Alfons Krenek, Jr. and James Krenek; father-in-law Ed Buckert; sisters-in-law Marilyn Stautzenberger and Kathleen Hermes & husband Jerome; 14 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A rosary will be recited at 6PM Thursday at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be 2:00 PM Friday, January 16, 2015 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Blessing with Rev. Peter Yeboah-Amanfo officiating. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gary Orsak, Robert Galvan, Woody Lowrance, Robert Krenek, Jr., Steven Hermes and Bubba Briscoe. David Krenek will serve as honorary pallbearer
