Robert Arthur "Bob" Haring, 45, of Bay City passed away September 30, 2006 at Matagorda General Hospital in Bay City. He was born April 11, 1961 in Bay City to Charles Henry, Jr. and Anna Lee Verser Haring. He owned and operated Carpet Warehouse in Bay City. Bob loved the outdoors, had a passion for fishing and was an avid pilot. He was a member of the Bay City Lions Club and the Houston Presbyterian Cursillo Community.

Bob was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his wife Robin Townsend Haring of Bay City; mother and step-father Anna Lee and Steve Walters of Bay City; sons Zachary Ryan Haring and Robert Charles Haring both of Bay City; and his brother Charles Lee Haring of Houston.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at the First Presbyterian Church in Bay City with Rev. John Nelson-Pope and Rev. Kristin Huffman officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City. Pallbearers will be Bubba Cook, Bobby Sieferman, Harry Norris, Jr., Pete Green, Bruce Grasmuck and Brett Daniel.
