Robert Oliver Gentry, 71, of Bay City passed away April 29, 2025.  He was born September 18, 1953 in Wharton, Texas.

He retired after many years of teaching at Houston ISD.

He was preceded in death by his father Marion Sydney Gentry and his mother Flossie Mae Kocurek Dreher. Survivors include one sister, two nephews, and a number of cousins.
