IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert Lewis
Frick
April 13, 1954 – September 9, 2022
Robert Lewis Frick, 68, of Kyle, Texas, passed away Friday, September 9, 2022 in San Marcos, Texas. He was born on April 13, 1954 in Bay City, Texas, to the late Clara Marie Babb and V.L. Frick.
Bob Frick was a resident of Markham, Texas for 60 years in which him and former wife raised their 3 children. He spent the last 8 years of his life making an amazing group of friends in Kyle, Texas.
Any person who knew Bob will never forget his passion for building things and his extreme knowledge of building anything, him wanting to help others build things, tinkering with anything he could get his hands on in the shop, his love for music, instruments he couldn't play, his colorful language, his real personality that just made people want to be around him, his willingness to lend an ear just to listen to anyone and to also give the shirt off his back to anyone, his "famous" phrase, his love for Bob's Barn and for all of those who shared it with him.
Bob was an influence to those around him to work and love hard. He had a knack for making people laugh and his was pretty contagious.
He loved sitting down and just listening to his records accompanied by a Pepsi.
Even in his ending moments of life he still found ways to go down in true Bob fashion by making others laugh and giving them a hard time.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, V.L. and Clara Frick; brother, V.L. Frick, Jr. "Scooter"; and sister, Carol Hoffman. He is survived by his daughter, Rachel Trevino (Steven); sons, R.L Frick (Terry), and Christopher Frick (Crystal); sister, Lois McDermott; grandchildren, Makayla Harley, Allix Trevino, Chelsi Schneider, Clay Frick, Christian Frick, Camryn Frick, and Chloe Frick; and great-grandchildren, Riley Schneider, Paisley Schneider, and Presley Schneider.
The Family will receive friends and relatives for visitation at 9:00am Friday, September 16, 2022, at Calvary Baptist Church in Bay City, Texas. Funeral Services will begin at 10:00am with Reverend Lane Par-Due officiating.
