Robert Bricker, 84, of Bay City died April 21, 2006 at the Matagorda House Health Care Center. He was born September 21, 1921 in Eagle Lake, TX to the late William and Mattie Herrington Bricker. He was a resident of Bay City since 1947 and a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church. He served in the US Marine Corp during WW II and was a retired operator at Phillips Petroleum.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years Flossie Bertsch Bricker of Bay City; 4 sons & daughters-in-law: Jack & Ruth Bricker of Tomball, Richard & Paula Bricker of Bay City, Mike & Phylliss Bricker of Beach City, TX, and David & Michelle Bricker of Houston; 9 grandchildren: Jeffrey, Stephanie, Shane, Timothy, Mark, Christina, Lauren, & Madelene Bricker, and Jennifer Mammoser; and 4 great grandchildren: Kathryn and Maci Bricker, and Hunter & Mikey Mammoser. He was preceded in death by his brother: Edgar "Dutch" Bricker.
Graveside Funeral Service 2:00 PM Monday, April 24, 2006 at Lakeside Cemetery in Eagle Lake, TX, with Rev. Eric Klimpel officiating. Pallbearers include Jack, Richard, Mike, David, Jeffrey, Shane, Timothy, and Mark Bricker. Memorials may be made to the St. Peter Lutheran Church, Building Fund, 1909 Peach, Bay City, TX 77414.
