Obituary
Robert James Ashby, 26, passed away Oct. 3, 2008. He was born September 2, 1982 in Bay City to Joel Clifton Ashby & Rhonda Seifert.
He is survived by his parents Joel & Lori Ashby and Rhonda & Gary Hale all of Bay City; grandparents Mary Ashby of Bay City, Glenda & J. B. Davenport of Matagorda, Henry Seifert of Bay City, & Charles Kress of Piqua, KS; great grandmother Jane Burns of Tishamingo, OK; daughter Victoria Anne Black of North Augusta, SC; sister Bria Cryer of Brazoria, brother Turner Jay of New Braunfels and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
The family will receive friends & relatives from 6pm to 8pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Chester Sassman officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Larry Joe Arnold, Brian Ashby, Tim Salley, Chad Cryer, Raul Segovia & Mike Barker. Memorials may be made to the Matagorda County Women's Crisis Center.
