Robert Eugene Abraham, 79, of Palacios passed away September 15, 2008. He was born September 5, 1929 in Palacios, TX to the late Elmer H. & Ethel Swinson Abraham. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and worked at Alcoa for many years.

Survivors include sisters Lorraine O'Connell of Hot Springs Village, AK, Laverne Zandanel of Monessen, PA, Betty Amador of Mont Belvieu, TX & Sandra Dudley of Humble, TX; and brothers Herbert Abraham of Virginia & Dennis Abraham of West Columbia, TX.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Friday, September 19, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church in Palacios with Rev. June White officiating. Interment will follow at Olivia Cemetery in Olivia, TX. Pallbearers will be Robert Dudley, Mike Dudley, Martin Amador, Ronald Rathnau, Chris Peden & Alex Peden.
