Robbie James Cartwright, devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, went home to be with our Lord on October 22, 2025, in his home. Robbie was born on October 19, 1929, to Greenberry Savage Cartwright and Blanch Myrtle Ingram. He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-nine and a half years, Betty Cartwright, daughter-in-law Cathy Cartwright, and his grandson Bryan N Cartwright; as well as his parents and siblings. Robbie served in the United States Army and retired from Celanese Chemical Company.

He is survived by his sons: Robert and wife Debby Cartwright, Lew and wife Linda Cartwright, and Larry and wife Dana Cartwright; nine grandchildren and many great-grandchildren: Ryan and wife Jennifer and son Savage Cartwright; Ray and daughter Megan Cartwright; Rachel LaBauve and children Dylan, Katelyn and Hannah LaBauve; Matthew and wife Karina and children Ethan and Sofia Cartwright; Kristan and husband Greg and children Aubrey, Clayton, and Kasey Hart; Lissa and husband Ben and children Addalynn, Jensen, and Raylee Caudill; Jason and wife Lindsay and children Ryleigh, Rhett, Wyatt, and Eszti Cartwright; Jennifer and husband Joe and children Wren and Emmalyn Moreland; and Joshua Jackson.

The main emphasis in his life was his family and his faith. Robbie and Betty were founding members of Bay Area Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Webster, Texas.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck, TX.  Pallbearers will be Ryan Catwright, Ray Cartwright, Jason Cartwright, Matthew Cartwright, Greg Hart, and Ben Caudill.
