Richard Thomas White, 66, of Blessing, passed away July 6, 2018. He was born June 26, 1952 in Orange, TX to Thomas Polk and Myree Elaine Turner White, Jr. Richard moved to Bay City in 1979 with his family to begin work at Celanese where he remained for 25 years before retiring.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents Myree and Thomas White, Jr., and nephew Michael Dosson Miller. He is survived by his brother Michael White and wife Cheryl of Orange; sons Brian White and wife Jeannie of Bay City, and David White and wife Candice of Lake Jackson; grandchildren Preston Pyland of Bay City, Conner Kilgore of Mesa, AZ, Harleigh Souza of Springfield, MO, Kaycee White of Bay City; niece Heather White of Houston; nephews Michael White, Jr. and wife Jenna of Cherry Point, NC, and Travis Miller and wife Solmaz of Bandera; great-grandchild Allison Souza, and great-niece Clara White.

No funeral services will take place per Richard's request. A bar-b-que memorial in celebration of his life will be 12:00pm August 5, 2018 at Baycel Clubhouse. Side dish and beverage contributions would be appreciated.
