Richard Angel Solis, 34, of Richmond, TX passed away October 22, 2011. He was born July 15, 1977 in Bay City, TX to Richard Waymond Solis & Maria De Los Angeles Rodriguez Solis.

God saw Angel getting tired, a cure was not to be. He wrapped him in his loving arms and whispered "Come with me." He suffered much in silence, his spirit did not bend. He faced his pain with courage, until the very end. Angel tried so hard to stay with us but his fight was not in vain, God took him to His loving home and freed him from the pain.

Survivors include his wife Lisa Nunez Solis of Richmond; mother Mary Rodriguez Solis of Richmond; father Richard & Carol Solis of Clute; maternal grandfather Juventino Rodriguez of Monterey, Mexico; daughter Mia Angel Solis and son Dominic Joshua Solis both of Richmond; sister Waynette Solis Pesina of Bay City; brothers David Solis & John Michael Solis both of Bay City and his wife's parents Felix & Mamie Nunez of Sweeny.

A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Mass will be 10:00 AM Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City. Pallbearers will be David Solis, John Michael Solis, Fidel Pesina, Felix Nunez, Robert Solis, Jr. & Victor Rodriguez, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Garcia, Jr., Tyler Pesina, Jonathan Pesina, Steven Solis, Kadin Nunez, Jordan Pesina, Keaton Nunez, Michael Andres Solis, Jakob Pesina, Koen Nunez, Alexis Nicole Solis & Kaia Elizabeth Nunez.
