Rhonda Ann Broussard, 80, of Bay City passed away peacefully February, 15, 2026. She was born February 3, 1946 in Laurel, Mississippi to the late Howard Travis Hennessy and Dorothy Goetze Hennessy.

Rhonda was truly the best wife, mother and grandmother anyone could ask for. Her love was steady, selfless and unconditional. She found joy in gardening and tending to her plants, she was a member of the Floral Luncheon Study Club. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Pi Sorority, in which she made many friends. She loved playing bunco, and spending time with her kids and grandchildren. She worked with her husband to build a thriving family business; she supported her family and those she loved with quiet strength and commitment.

Rhonda is survived by her devoted husband, Kent Paul Broussard. She was the proud and loving mother to daughter Wendy Broussard Réaux and husband Jonathan Réaux; son Troy Paul Broussard and wife Michelle Broussard. Her greatest joy was being “Grammie” to her cherished grandchildren Drew Alexander Réaux and Dax Emerson Réaux.

Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who knew her.
