Rena "BeBe" Hubbard Barnes went to her final resting place on August 11, 2021 at her home in the care of her family. She was born on October 10, 1941 to WB Hubbard and Julia Tanner Hubbard in Bay City, Texas. BeBe was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.
Bebe's pride and joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her love for them was shown in the baking she did for all the holidays, the many "surprises" she would show up with and of course the special quilts and drawings she made them. All those that knew Bebe were blessed to have experienced her love, compassion, good cooking, sweet smile and most importantly her gift to always do for others.
Survivors Include daughter Ginger Newsome (Tommy) and son Brian Barnes (Brooke). Bebe's greatest blessing are grandchildren Colby Newsome (Chelsa), Cami Pietsch (Dakota) and Cally Newsome (Ro) and 6 great grandchildren; Lane, Wade, Kase, River, Denim and Lilah, as well as her four-legged labs Bud and Reba. She is also survived by sisters Lena Falks and Willie Daugherty; brother Bluford Hubbard, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Rena is preceded in death by her parents, and sisters Zona Bender, Jessie Hudgeons, Bernell Maxwell and Monetta Gregurek.
Graveside services will be Monday, August 16, 2021 at 10:00 am at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck, TX.
