Rebecca "Becky" Ann Lawrence, 65, of Bay City passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2007 in Bay City. She was born December 9, 1941 in Bay City to the late Fadris Marie Mote Green & Harvey Leroy Green, Sr.. Becky was a life long Resident of Bay City, a member of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary, and Women's Bowling League. She loved children, gardening, and Bingo.

She is survived by husband: Lewis Lovell Lawrence, Sr. of Bay City; 2 sons: Lewis Lawrence, Jr. & wife Kolleen of Angleton and Brett Leeroy Lawrence of Bay City; 2 sisters: Janese Walker & husband George of Clemville and Winnie Marshall & husband Mike of Houston; 2 brothers: Roy Green of Bay City and James Mote & wife Peggy of Santa Fe; 2 grandchildren: Rachel and Britney Lawrence; and by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and 2 sisters: Dorothy Holliday and Janette Goodman.

A funeral service was held 10:00 AM Monday, August 6, 2007 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Interment followed at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers were: James Clayton, Ross Green, James Mote Jr., David Wilson Walker, and Dewayne Walker.
