Raymundo "Mundo" Garcia Jr., 67, of Bay City went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, January 15, 2014. He was born July 9, 1946 in Bay City to the late Raymundo Garcia Sr. & Mary Fernandez Garcia. Mundo was a life long resident of Bay City, a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, and was retired from the Bay City Police Dept. after many years of dedicated service. He was a very religious man, and very involved with his church. Mundo was a great husband, father, and grandfather who loved his church, family and the outdoors.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years: Eva Ybarra Garcia; 5 children: Mary Alice Garcia, Annette Saldana, Raymundo Garcia III, Ricky Garcia, and Adrian Garay; 14 grandchildren: Nicole Garcia, Jessica Kuplic, T. J. Kuplic, Steven Kuplic, Ashley Kuplic, Bianca Garcia, Niko Saldana, Christopher Kuplic, Raymundo Garcia IV, Seth Garcia, Jacen Garcia, Ricky Garcia Jr., Lauren Garcia, and Nathan Garcia; numerous great grandchildren; and 3 siblings: Manuel Garcia, Belia Garcia, and Jorge Garcia. Mundo was preceded in death by his parents.

A Rosary will be recited at 6:00pm at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 10:00am Saturday, January 18 at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church Gymnasium in Bay City with Msg. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery.
