IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Raymond
Salazar
April 27, 1942 – October 22, 2020
Raymond Salazar, of Van Vleck, Texas went to be with our Heavenly Father on Thursday October 22, 2020. He was born April 27, 1942 in San Juan, Texas to the late Mateo Salazar Sr. and Maria E. Alvarado.
Raymond was a devoted and loving husband of 46 years to his beautiful wife, Dominga Salazar (Sandy), whom he treated like a queen. Along with being a loving husband, he was the best daddy a daughter could ask for. He loved, protected, and guided his family until his last days. He was a proud grandfather, who loved his grandchildren dearly. He taught them how to fish, hunt, and enjoy life. His beef jerky, fried fish, and barbecue will also be missed. He enjoyed pulling out his guitar and accordion to entertain his loving family. He was a Master Plumber, with his own business, for many years and was very well known throughout the community.
He is proceeded in death by his beloved wife, Dominga Salazar (Sandy); daughter Maria Salazar: granddaughter Dominga E. Torres, parents Mateo Salazar Sr. and Maria E. Alvarado; brothers Mateo Salazar Jr. and José Ángel Salazar; and sister Virginia Salazar. He is survived by his daughters Velma M. Salazar (Roberto) of Van Vleck, Texas; Delores S. Perez (Rudy) of Bay City, Texas; Belinda A. Salazar (Ociel) of Bay City, Texas; Lisa M. Tilotta (Mark) of Van Vleck, Texas; Ashley R. Jennings (Preston) of Van Vleck, Texas; Diana M. Salazar (Uriel) of Bay City, Texas; Irene Arriaga (Alex) of Boling, Texas; and many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Daddy, thank you for protecting us and loving us unconditionally. We know it took a strong man to raise many daughters and you did it well. We love and miss you and we will continue to stay strong. We know you're reunited with mom and that brings us peace. You will always be our hero!
Love, your daughters!
