Raul Huerta, Sr., 87, of Van Vleck went to be with our Lord and Savior on July 5, 2024.  He was born on November 13, 1936 in San Benito, Texas to Luis Huerta, Sr. and Mercedes Jalomo Huerta.

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Trinidad Huerta, his children Mary A. Huerta of Van Vleck, Noah Huerta (Isabel) of Bay City, and Raul Huerta, Jr. (Rachel) of Van Vleck.  Raul Sr. had 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Raul Sr. was preceded in death by his parents Luis Huerta, Sr. and Mercedes Jalomo Huerta, his brothers Louis Huerta, Jr., Reymundo Huerta, Angel Huerta, Sr. and Severo Huerta, His son Wally Huerta and grandson Xavier Zboral-Huerta.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. A rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. with funeral at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Friday, July 12, 2024.  Rev. Gabriel Espinosa will officiate.

Pallbearers for Mr. Huerta will be Raul Huerta, Jr., Louis Huerta III, Michael Huerta, Noah Valenzuela, David Castillo and Tim Jalomo.

Graveside services will commence at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck, TX immediately following the Funeral service.
