Raquel "Rachel" Solis, 72, of Richwood, TX passed away July 22, 2024.  She was born August 4, 1951 in Mathis, Texas to the late Raul Franco and Sarah Zepeda Franco.

Rachel retired from Dow Chemical after 35 years of service.  Rachel enjoyed reading, cooking, hanging out with her family & friends and never missed the opportunity to celebrate life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Raul Franco, Jr.

Survivors include her husband Ruben Solis; daughter Felicia Neubig and husband Pete; sisters Ruby Franco, Sylvia Bartley & husband Gary, Becky Ortiz and Ruth Littlefield and husband Travis.

A rosary will be recited at 9:30 AM Friday, August 23, 2024 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.  Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM with Rev. Gabriel Espinosa officiating.  Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery.
