Randy Bigelow, 50, of Palacios passed away Thursday, July 30, 2009 in Houston. He was born August 7, 1958 in Lima Ohio to Mary Jo Freeze Bigelow & Ronald Ralph Bigelow. Randy was a resident of Matagorda County for over 30 years, and was a member of Tres Palacios Oaks Volunteer Fire Department.

He is survived by his wife: Debbie Koenig Bigelow of Palacios; father: Ronald Ralph Bigelow of Reserve, LA; daughters: Stephanie Galindo, Angelique Bigelow, Becky Kudelka, and Racheal Kudelka all of Palacios; sons: Jerrett Bigelow & wife Michelle of Angleton, Nicholas Bigelow of Palacios, Duane Kudelka of Wharton, Ryan Kudelka of Palacios, and John Sholts Jr. of Palacios; sister: Trina Bigelow of Palacios; brothers: Stanley Wheatley and Robbie Wheatley both of Otathe, KS, and Albert Hoggett of Omaha, NE; and 6 grandchildren. His mother and brother Donald Bigelow preceded Randy in death.

A rosary will be recited 7:00 PM Sunday, August 2, 2009 at the Palacios Funeral Home. Mass will be held 10:00 AM Monday, August 3, 2009 at the Palacios Funeral Home with Father Charles Dowomoh officiating. Interment will follow at Ashby Cemetery in El Maton, TX. Pallbearers will be Bill Wilson, Kirby Bigelow, Ryan Kudelka, Nicholas Bigelow, Billy Christmas, and John Sholts Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be his grandsons: Corey and Joshua Kudelka, Jimmy Piwonka, and Aragon Bigelow. Donations may be made to the Tres Palacios Volunteer Fire Dept.
