For several years Ramona and Cancer ran a tight race even with the added challenge of multiple sclerosis and she lost the race Dec. 13, 2010. But she did win because now she is free to walk and run. Ramona was born May 22, 1957 in El Campo to Alvin and Eldrid Besetsny Schilhab. She graduated from El Campo High School and graduated from the University of Houston. She worked several years in the Oil & Gas Industry until Multiple Sclerosis made it impossible to continue. She was a talented cook and loved gardening. Survived by her loving family, mother Eldrid Schilhab, sisters, Carlene Jackson and husband James Elzner, Christine Ward & husband John, Teresa Bolton & husband Toby, Patty Tufro & husband Gerald; brother, Lonnie Schilhab & wife Teresa, nephews, Coby & Blake Bolton, Matthew & Luke Schilhab, and good friend Boriana Gurueva. Preceeded in death by father Alvin Schilhab, Maternal grandparents, Beno & Agnes Besetsny, Paternal Grandparents, Albert & Wilhemina Schilhab. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 A.M. Friday, Dec. 17th at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Rev. Casey Jarzombek celebrant. Burial will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. The recitation of the Holy Rosary will be 7:00 P.M.
