Ralph Edward Rawlings, Jr., 75, of Matagorda passed away March 23, 2016. He was born May 27, 1940 in Rosenberg, TX to the late Ralph Edward Rawlings, Sr. and Evelyn Talasek Rawlings.

Survivors include his wife Betty Rawlings; daughter Suzanne Belcik & husband David of Matagorda; sons Ralph Edward Rawlings III of Elk City, OK, Lee Harrison Rawlings & wife Donna of Addington, OK and Luke Rawlings & wife Lisa of Addington, OK; brothers Bill Rawlings of Bay City, John Rawlings of Matagorda and Tom Rawlings of Wharton and grandchildren Amy Rawlings, Courtney Jurek, Gregory Latham, Austin Latham, Maxwell Eastwood, Emma Kreek Rawlings, McCain Rawlings and Walker Rawlings.

The family will receive friends and relatives beginning at 9:00 AM Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the Nichols St. Church of Christ in Bay City. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM with Matt Springfield officiating. Interment will follow at Matagorda Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Luke Rawlings, Lee Harrison Rawlings, McCain Rawlings, Walker Rawlings, Elmer Latham, Buddy Treybig, David Belcik and Troy Rawlings. Honorary pallbearers are Kirk Vossler, Tyler Treybig and Trey Treybig.
