Phyllis Williams, 95, of Matagorda passed away July 17, 2007. She was born March 7, 1912 in Caldwell, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Tena Williamson Hustead; brother "Bill" Hustead and husband J. F. "Jimbo" Williams.

She moved to Matagorda County as a child and graduated from Gulf High School. Phyllis and "Jimbo" married October 25, 1933 in Port Lavaca, Calhoun County, Texas.

Survivors include nephews Charles L. & wife Pat Williams of Bay City, James P. & wife Chella Williams of Bay City, Bolton & wife Jeri Williams of Willis, Texas, Francis & wife Jennifer Williams of Houston; niece Ellen & husband Keith Kilgore of The Woodlands, TX and numerous great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, July 21, 2007 at Christ Episcopal Church in Matagorda with Father Harley Savage officiating. Interment will follow at Matagorda Cemetery.
